Many noncitizens who may otherwise have qualified for immigration benefits discover they will never be successful because somebody with limited, outdated, or
faulty knowledge about US Immigration laws destroyed their dreams. Don’t let that happen to you! While many firms affiliated with licensed US lawyers provide
legitimate immigration-related services, non-lawyers or travel agencies are not authorized nor qualified to help you with immigration matters. It is against US law
for foreign attorneys who are not licensed in the United States to provide immigration advice. At BDC Consultancy you are represented by a US licensed
immigration attorney with offices in the USA (Guam and the CNMI). Only a U.S. licensed attorney is authorized and qualified to represent you in your immigration
case. Unlike travel agencies and the like, attorneys have completed extensive education and training before being licensed to represent clients. Attorneys are
required to maintain high ethical standards and if they don’t, you can contact your local bar association for action. When a non-lawyer promises to help but doesn’t
deliver, irreparable damage is often done and no-one to give you relief.

    SOME COMMON QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

A:         Yes, we do. As a matter of fact cases involving adoptions are increasing all the time. Our attorney knows what to do, and will ensure you have professional,
capable and honest representation at very reasonable rates. The adoption of a Filipino child involves many steps that have to be done correctly, AND the process
has to meet the requirements of US adoption and immigration laws.

Q:         I am a Filipina who has lived and worked on Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands for over ten years. I am married to a US Citizen, and I have two children
that are also US Citizens. However, I am still a Philippines Citizen. Now the Commonwealth is coming under the US immigration laws beginning this year. I will lose
my immediate relative (IR) status under the CNMI law. What should I do?

A:         We are getting many cases similar to yours because of the legislation that is placing the CNMI under US Immigration laws. Unless some changes are made
to the law, you'll have to apply for US immigrant status. Contact us for detailed advice on how to proceed.

Q:         I contacted an Immigration assistance company advertising on the Internet. They guarantee that my fiancées visa will be approved if I use them. Does BDC
    Consultancy offer that guarantee?

A:         We cannot offer that kind of guarantee. And nobody should. It would be very unethical, especially as we don't know about the potential problems your
fiancée may have in meeting the requirements of US Immigration and the US State Department. However, we do guarantee that we will put forward the best
possible effort, and always be there for you in this complicated process.

Q:         I talked to an immigration lawyer regarding the fact that I met my fiancée when she worked at a night club in the Philippines. He told me not to mention that
anywhere in the petition as that would result in a denial of the visa petition. What should we do?

A:         NEVER, NEVER lie on your petition, application, or during your interview at the US Embassy. As a matter of fact, if we find out that you have lied to us, or
“forgot” to mention any important facts, we will immediately withdraw from your case.

Q:         I am a Filipina. I have met an American guy, and we really love each other. We want to get married and live in the U.S. However, I am still married here in the
Philippines to a guy I haven't seen for seven years. I don't even know where he is. What should I do?

A:         As you know, a divorce is not an option in the Philippines. You need to file for annulment. If you haven't had any contact with your husband for the past
seven years, this is usually obtainable.
Q:         How much does BDC Consultancy charge for the forms I need for filing a petition for my Filipina wife? I want to try doing it myself, I only need all the forms
and instructions on how to do it.

A:         BDC Consultancy does not sell the forms necessary for the US visa process. You can download them, and instructions, for free from the US Government
website. However, we strongly recommend against starting the process on your own. We have seen too many denials of petitions due to minor mistakes or
omission when filling out the forms.

Q:         My fiancée went to her interview at the US Embassy in Manila. The consular officer told her she has to come back for a second interview. Why is that?

A:         Apparently there is some discrepancy concerning her supporting documents, or some other issue that the consular officer has concerns with. Honestly, a
second interview is not a good sign as we often see a denial after that. Again, we can't over emphasize the need to be honest and forthcoming throughout the
    process.
Q:         I have read so many blogs discussing US immigration and visa scams. How do I know you are not one of them?

A:         Check us out! First of all, BDC Consultancy works with a licensed US Immigration attorney. We are also affiliated with a Filipino lawyer specializing in family,
annulment, and adoption issues. We maintain an office in Angeles City where you can find us Mondays through Saturdays, 9am to 6pm. And, speak with some of our
past clients. You will hear nothing but good words about our services.

Q:         I was told that my Filipina wife needs a lot of immunizations before she can have her visa approved. How can I find out what she needs?

A:         As part of the visa process, she has to undergo a medical evaluation at St. Luke's hospital here in Manila. They will tell her what she needs as part of the
    evaluation.

Q:         I have read about the horrible interview process at the Manila embassy. My fiancée is a shy woman, and I am in the US, so I can't support her. Can you help
    her?

A:         Yes, part of the service we provide our clients is an escort to the interview. And the consular staff is not “horrible” at all if the applicant is truthful and
    forthcoming during the interview.
